Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease that is mainly caused by Treponema pallidum bacteria. Syphilis Detection Test or Venereal Disease Research Laboratory Test is done to detect the presence of Syphilis.

Test required for

VDRL is “venereal disease research laboratory” test. The diagnosis of bacterium Treponema pallidum in the blood, fluid or tissue that causes the contamination and usually affects the genital area of both men and women. It can also pass from mother to baby during pregnancy. The infection can cause severe brain damage, heart disease, blindness, spinal cord damage, blindness, and death.
