Normally, blood glucose levels slight increases after eating. A postprandial glucose test helps to determine the amount of glucose in the blood two hours after a meal. Usually blood sugar starts to go up after a meal and reaches its highest after an hour. Postprandial glucose depends on several factors and type of food consumed is one of them.
